Snowbowl is a great place to spend a day and perfect for a beginning skiier or snowboarder. It is not anything comparable to slopes in Colorado , but as far as AZ goes, you can't beat Snowbowl! Ski near The Grand Canyon

Arizona Snowbowl is near Flagstaff, Arizona and close to the Grand Canyon (check the Snowbowl website before you go to make sure they are open, they do not make their own snow so they are at the mercy of Mother Nature) We signed our kids up for the Ski Wee lessons, we were there on a busy 3 day w... clashed, a user of Tripadvisor.
