Entering Supai Village you immediatly realize you have entered an area not unlike a third world country. Although the falls are the most beautiful I have ever seen, it is important to know the dangers before you take this trip. Incredible - A must do!

We forked out the $500 per person for the two of us to take a helicopter into the Havasupai Village. While it's a lot of money, especially since it doesn't include lunch or a guide or anything other than transportation, this was our favorite of our whole Grand Canyon (and all of AZ) trip! Over-commercialized

While the scenery is amazing, Havasu falls has been over-crowded and over-commercialized. You will not find many backpackers on the trail as most of them get their family sized coolers and picnic chailrs flown of muled in. The campround is packed on weekends and site-finding is difficult.
