Collections:: The permanent collection of The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Art at Auburn University spans an impressive selection of American and European 19th and 20th century art including paintings, sculpture and prints. The two major components of the collection include the controversial Advancing American Art Collection and The Louise Hauss and David Brent Miller Audubon Collection, an important collection of prints by the American naturalist John James Audubon.
