Very nice atmosphere of a museum that incorporates both modern and old art and history. You can go at your own pace, or go on one of the guided tours. This could arguably be characterized as the only world-class attraction in Kansas City. I have lived in KC my whole life and never tire of visiting "The Nelson". Outstanding collection of Asian art. The Nelson was one of the prettiest art museums I've ever been to. The front entrance and opposite sculpture garden (though lacking in sculptures) were impressive and well-landscaped.
