Collections:
The Modern maintains one of the foremost collections of postwar art in the central United States. The Museums permanent collection consists of approximately 2,600 works of art, including paintings, sculpture, site-specific installations, drawings, prints, photographs and videotapes/discs. A new home for the Modern Art Museum, designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, opened in Fort Worths Cultural District on December 14, 2002.

Tue-Sat 10am-5pm; Sun 11am-5pm,10a-5p Tu-Sa, 11a-5p Su, closed on New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas,Tues-Thurs and Sat 10am-5pm; Fri 10am-8pm; Sun 11am-5pm. Feb-April and Sept-Nov, open Tues 10-7. Free public tours daily 2pm (no prior arrangement necessary).
