I rode with a group of locals from nearby Durango and they informed me a lot of the trails have been rerouted just this summer and 2 of the loops we did were brand new, so if you have done this before go hit it again! more on SingleTracks

and one more thing-the section on the south side of the highway is decent but not nearly as well kept and not nearly as fun-you are much better served going for another lap on the north side. more on SingleTracks
