Banting House National Historic Site
Dr. Banting was responsible for discovering insulin, and you can learn about this man and the discovery in the house where he practiced medicine from 1920-1921. Don’t forget about the apothecary next door!
Step back in time at this family-friendly attraction! History comes alive at this historic living history village which is open year-round. It might be fun to time your visit for some of the guest lectures.
This 600-seat live concert hall and movie theater features a 1930s organ. Enjoy ballets, opera and symphony performances from some of the greatest performers and composers in the world, both past and present.
