Dog Mountain - great short hike/walk
If you're not up to Grouse Grind, but would like to experience Vancouver's outdoor, the Dog Mountain trail at Mt. Seymore is highly recommended. It is about 3 hrs return and have a pretty small lake, First Lake, on the way. It's not seep ascend, so a pair of sneakers would do, although light hiki... motohachi, a user of Tripadvisor.
