Your Davis California family vacation should include a visit to the Sacramento Zoo. This is a small zoo, with a small admission fee, but the experience will be large. This is a great day trip and will give the kids something to talk about.
Drive the thirteen miles to Fairytale Town. Every little boy and girl in your family will love it and you! This is a two and a half acre park that will make fairytales seem real. Surrounded by Mother Goose and all of her friends, you can spread your fare and have a real family picnic. If you didn’t bring picnic fare, you will find food available in the park. There is a small admission fee that is slightly greater on weekends, but still a great find for a small price. There are many places to climb and play and the kids will thoroughly enjoy this part of their Davis California family vacation.
No Davis California family vacation is complete without a visit to the Nut Tree Family Park. The entire family will find something to do in Nut Tree Village. There are several dining facilities and many name brand shops such as Old Navy, Borders and Best Buy along the way. The kids will not mind a day of shopping on this Davis California family vacation as long as it is in Nut Tree Village. They can ride the Nut Tree Train around the village or hop on board the Vineyard Balloon for a hot air view of the Village. There is a great little roller coaster called the Harvest Express and everyone’s favorite, the bumper cars.
