The ticket lines can be long and you can bypass with prepaid tickets. Also, the park will allow you to upgrade your ticket to a two day ticket if you get there and decide to return a second day. Parking is paid, but save your parking stub, you can return same day for free with a valid parking stub. If you visit Legoland the second day of your Escondido California vacation you will be required to pay parking fee again.
