The most natural first stop on a Hermosa Beach California vacation is, of course, Hermosa City Beach. This great California beach is very popular and can be very crowded in the summer, but you will find a large number of shops and dining choices by walking and exploring the area. This is a popular volleyball spot and it is the site of the International Surf Festival in the late summer. No Hermosa Beach California vacation is complete without a visit to the Comedy and Magic Club, a favorite of many popular comedy headliners such as Jay Leno and Rocky LaPorte. Parking is available for a very small fee. Check out the calendar and purchase your tickets online in advance. This will do two things, assure you don’t miss out on an event because it is sold out, and it will decrease your wait time on arrival.
If you are a golfer, you find this is a golfer’s paradise. There are a number of popular courses in the area. You can golf at great courses such as the Alondra Park Golf Course or at the Malibu Castle Park.
