Fisherman's Wharf is a must-see for any visitor to San Francisco. While it definitely has more than its share of souvenir shops and tourist traps, there are still many places worth checking out, including seafood restaurants and stands hawking the freshest fish around. Families won't want to miss Pier 39 where there's a classic carousel, plenty of shops, and of course the famous harbor seals, basking in the sun (if it's out) and barking loudly to each other and their admirers.
