Perhaps one of Santa Monica's most recognizable attractions, the Santa Monica Pier is a destination unto itself. With an amusement park, an aquarium, a carousel that's a National Historic Landmark, plenty of shopping and even a trapeze school, it's easy to spend your entire day exploring the treasures that the pier has to offer.
