Not Really Impressed

I used The Children's Museum to host my daughter's 3rd birthday. They played for a while then ate cake and opened presents. I told the kids they could go finish playing for the time we had left. Not for anyone over the age of 7

The children's museum is a nice little place (stress the word "little") where children can interact with science and learn. I was disappointed as far as size and number of exhibits - some of which were broken. I would suggest Sci-Port in Shreveport or the NASA space learning center in Ruston be... By A Yahoo! Good, cosidering it's in Monroe!

What do you expect? The NELA Children's Museum is located in Monroe, LA! They are doing the best that they can with the LIMITED resources they receive. Children's Museum

I took my three granddaughters, ages 6, 8 and 11 to this small but very interesting museum. They found a lot to entertain themselves. They especially liked the small cafe where they wore aprons and chef's hats and worked in a kitchen preparing plastic "food" to fill their customers' orders. There...
