great location-good package deal in May
The Avenue Inn has a great location just two blocks from Rehoboth's beach and boardwalk. Just OK
My partner, myself, and our kids stayed at the Avenue Inn 7/29-8/4. We (my partner and I, no kids) had stayed there before on the off season when it's cheaper and we loved it, which is why we decided to give it a try for our family vacation. I'm kind of sorry we did. Although we had no problems with our room (always cleaned and tidied nicely and spacious enough for the four of us), we had other issues which will ultimately affect our going back. Family-Friendly hotel for our family vacation
We just returned from our 4-day vacation to Rehoboth Beach, and we had a lovely time. The Avenue Inn met all of our expectations, and exceeded them in many cases. Check-in was easy and we were happy to see the hotel had special "check in" parking spaces to aid in unloading the car. Once we unloaded the car, we were able to park in the underground parking garage - it was so nice to have the car safe and out of the harsh sun! Our room was clean and cozy - our family of 5 (two adults and 3 children ages 6, 4 and 14-months) stayed in a 2-room Queen Suite, which had a bedroom ... PAmomof3, a user of Tripadvisor.
