Beach is nice, town is only OK

We were in Clearwater Beach for two nights after a week in Orlando. It was very smoky while we were there so unfortunately we didn't see the beautiful sunsets we've read so much about. Loved Clearwater

My husband had a business trip a few years back and I went with him to Clearwater Florida. The beach is beautiful!!!! I would suggest staying right on the strip beach front. It's GREAT!

Clearwater is great. There are so many great motels/hotels to stay at right on the beach at great prices. I'm talking like 50/60$ per night. I would recommend The Patio Motel. Clearwater the simple way

The Kendall Motel is a throw-back to simpler days. It provides a small, fully-equipped kitchen as well as a separate bedroom. The atmosphere is low-key and relaxed, and so is the price.
