I was told by a local that it's a nice place and that people like to stay all day and picnic, but I don't know. more on Yahoo! Travel

We did not see any gopher tortoise but saw about 7 raccoons, several shore birds and very large manatee prior to the free boat ride. more on TripAdvisor

I took a trip with my family during the second week of Jan and I must say the park is well kept, very tidy with several picnic tables and grills off the initial boarded path. more on TripAdvisor

This was a very inexpensive trip and my family truly had fun. more on TripAdvisor

The boat goes back across to the park hourly so you can stay as long as you want until 4pm. more on TripAdvisor
