Rainbow River Tubing!!
We went tubing down the Rainbow River in Dunnellon , Florida in July 2005 with our 2 kids ( 6&11). We rented tubes and shuttle service with Dragonfly Water Sports of Dunnellon. It was less than $50 for our family of 4. We went to their location and paid for the trip, followed the Dragonfly shuttle to the "take out" location ( where you get off the river at the end of the float), parked our car and took the shuttle to the "put in" location at KP Hole County Park. On the Dragonfly shuttle ride to KP Hole, the driver and assistant gave us info on the river, what we could expect to see, and most importantly what you can and cannot do.
