Plastic Manatees

The funny thing about this place is that all the manatees are plastic. The only way to see a real one is from the observation deck as one could pass by to the warm waters of the power plant. Lots of plastic manatees....

I live near the area and wanted to visit. I was hoping to find a great place to bring visitors. The center itself has alot of plastic manatees but there are no real ones. Great Place to Visit!

Our family absolutly loved this place! It was very educational for the kids & adults as well. There is a fantastic Vanishing Mermaid Gift Shop that you can buy all things Manatee and other items as well. We were there in June & although it is rare we did get to see a Manatee.
