Do a little homework first

... but I highly recommend that you read up and prepare before you arrive because most of the tour is self-directed. You begin at the visitor center and then take a bus to the two other sites. Best part of an orlando vacation

Make a side trip from Orlando or tack it onto a cruise

... pretty good attraction. Our family bought the maximum access pass, which was sort of a waste of money.
