This site is very interesting and it would be easy to consider the grounds beautiful. more on TripAdvisor

It was originally established as a rice plantation. more on TripAdvisor

There are two large (empty) greenhouses on property and a visitor has to wonder if things were different in the past. more on TripAdvisor

Out of season its a pretty place with some nice grounds to explore, in bloom its breathtaking with azaleas everywhere and it bursts with colour. more on TripAdvisor

After a long drive into the country from Wilmington following signs, we arrived at a long dirt road bordered by live oaks with spanish moss. more on TripAdvisor
