For a municipal course it's in pretty decent shape. The front 9 are at the ocean. Holes 5-8 are a delight as you hug the shoreline. The course is pretty light on hazards. Great Low Price Course

Grew up on Maui playing this course, we used to pay 3$/month (10 years ago) as juniors and play until we couldn't walk any more. That should give you an idea of it's "affordability." Great bargain and layout, conditions a little iffy

This is my second trip to Maui. Last time, I played Kapalua Bay Course for $180. This time, I researched all of the resort courses and found that their fees were all about $150.
