Without a doubt, Shaker Hills is a very good golf course. The description of holes 3, 4 and 5 as being the most difficult in New England has a lot of merit. I love what this course could become. I hope that they can just put it all together. The young course really needs time for the greens to harden and the crew should be keeping these greens cut closer. I have to say, I spent 95 bucks to play this supposed great course and I was thoroughly dissapointed. Fact is, this course is 50 miles from nowhere and the cost for playing this course seems a bit stratospheric compared to other course in the area that are less expensive and offer better customer... more on GolfReview
