Want to play a nice Jack Nicklaus course, well play Pawley's Plantation, not Long Bay.Rotten shape (overseeding in October) as course was bone dry and quite brown. The course was lush and green from tee to green. The rough and OB areas were also in great shape. The layout of this Nicklaus design was very challenging. I have to agree with the previous review here. We played this course in mid October and was very disappointed. All the mushrooms growing in the fairways made it tough to find your ball.
