I visited Myrtle Beach with my wife (a non-golfer) in October 2009 and stayed in the Sheraton Plantation Resort and we had a great time. more on TripAdvisor

To score well, I suggest leaving the driver in the car and swinging the 3 wood off the tee. more on GolfReview
