Golfers Nirvana, Ocean lovers delight!
My family and I found Pawleys Island in August of 03 while staying at a friends condo in Myrtle Beach. We were a little hesitant about visiting Myrtle Beach assumed trailer parkish visitors and garish neon. That does exist, but only in a small area downtown. If u travel just north or south of the immediate downtown area, its great. It seems every oceanfront resort has a waterpark with a lazy river geared toward families. To get to my True Blue review, I would just say that Myrtle Beach is Orlando by the sea. Check out Broadway at the Beach webpage to get the flavor. We found Pawleys Island on a drive just 25 minutes south of Myrtle. As soon as you enter Georgtown County, you get a nicer feel, strict zoning laws, more lush, shopping plazas's ...
