Beautiful color
While there are boating activities in this lake which is half in Utah and half in Idaho, it's the color which is so striking. It's a very beautiful aqua-blue color set against a treeless mountain range on the lake's eastern side. Great Family hike
When visiting the Bear Lake area I highly reccomend this short hike to 3 small alpine lakes. Drive north to Bloomington, turn left at the Post Office, Bloomington Canyon Road.
