Birdwood is probably the best manicured public access course in Charlottesville. Birdwood Golf Course is located west of Charlottesville just off of Route 250. Take exit 118B from Interstate 64, which leads to the Route 29/250 Bypass. Then take the Route 250 West exit, and turn left.
