Course is almost always in really good shape. Good variety of holes which tend to be shorter but tight.The second par three on the front nine has a green with a slope back to front that rivals a US Open green. Course winds it's way through a nice wooded setting. I had a deer run across the blue tee box while we were teeing off of the white tees. Pohick is a good course. It has some difficult holes, but for the most part, its a fair course. One of the par 3's early in the round (I think its #4) is a pretty difficult hole..... a good poke up a slight hill. Seems like the course has a lot of holes that play up hill.
