I've been to Ireland and played several of the great courses there. If you take away the trees, add an ocean and some wind, you'd swear you were in Ireland when you play Royal New Kent. Toughest GC I have ever played
This is by far the toughest golf course I have ever played. The layout is ingenious, beautifully executed and fabulously maintained. You would never know that you weren't in Scotland, the scrubby grass and moor like consistancy of the turf makes for a highly authenic experience. My only complaint... psuross, a user of Tripadvisor.
