I think this is a very technical course. There are at least three holes with blind doglegs and there are a number of forced carries. It is not a course where you just blindly pull out your driver and rip...unless you like hacking out of the trees. Battle Creek is my local course. I used to greenskeep there and I've seen an amazing improvement in conditions. The last few years, they've been cutting lots of trees around tees and greens for better turf conditions, and it shows. Have played this course about 20 times over the last two years. This year the course is in better shape. The greens here can be a little rough, espcially before may.
