Have no fear, this place is top-notch.
This is a beautiful property. The rooms are HUGE and have personality. Ours had skylights and a very loft-like feel to it. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very private and quiet. My husband and I stayed at the Hannaford Apt. and Suites Aug 22-24 and I must say that it was a different experience for me. When we arrived (which it was about 8:30 p.m.) the front door was locked and we had to go to the back door to enter the hotel. We had to get our key out of a little box tha... My wife and I visit Newport, KY 3 or 4 times a year. We always stay at the Hannaford Suites since it is a marvelous location, just across the river from Cincinnati, near the freeway and next to the exciting Newport Levee entertainment area.
