The sight of the Arizona Memorial is an educational experience for young and old alike. See the whales playing offshore when you take the Leeward Coast Whale Watching Cruise, which operates from December through April. This is the time when the humpback whales are easily spotted off the coast. You do have an hour’s drive from Kapaa to the Ko Olina Marina where you will meet the captain. It is advisable to book your cruise at least 48 hours in advance and to arrive about 20 minutes before your scheduled time of departure.
