The tree is one of the largest in the world and was imported to Lahaina in the late 18th century from India. The tree
stretches over n area of 200 feet and shades almost two-thirds of the park.
Visitors are not permitted to climb the tree or sit on its branches. There are
many benches around the outskirts of the park and at various times of the year,
you can take in native and craft demonstrations.
Experience the Chinese culture in Hawaii when you visit the Wo Hing Temple Museum. When
you enter, the first thing you will see is the Dancing Lion of Taipei, a
ceremonial lion. Since the Chinese people in Hawaii predate the whalers and the
missionaries, there are centuries of history for you to explore in the
artifacts of this museum.
