Some of the shops are vacant compared to years ago in the pier's hayday, and this pier is not quite the size of Pacific Park and doesn't have the attractions that the Santa Monica pier has to offer, yet the Redondo Beach Pier is much more hassle free when it comes to parking and is much less crowded at any given time than it's Santa Monica bretheren, and just as historic, offering no shortage of a great experience and joy to visitors since the early 1900s. more on Yahoo!
