Dedicated to preserving the history of Fairhope, Alabama, the Fairhope History Museum opened its doors in 1998 in an old police station. It hosts a number of permanent and traveling exhibits, including ones that focus on the city's volunteer fire department, local Native Americans, and even one about the Town Jail.
