- Now that the New York State Board of Regents of the Education Department has granted a Provisional Charter to the North Tonawanda History Museum, we can now officially hold a membership drive. Please send in your dues to become a Charter Member of the Museum. You will always be designated as a Charter Member so long as you maintain your membership. Membership cards will be distributed as soon as we have them printed. We will always celebrate our City's birthday at our April membership meeting, since it was incorporated on April 24, 1897. We will also be able to celebrate our own anniversary as a Museum at the same monthly meeting, since the Regents gave us our Charter on April 20, 2004, a 107th birthday present for North Tonawanda! -- Right now we are open 24/7 as a virtual museum but in the next few months hope to find a building to call our home.
- Collections:
- We have a 6 inch ruler by White, Gratwick and Mitchell Lumber Co. Also, an antique sled from the Auto Wheeler Coaster Company. Recently, surveying equipment used in the past was donated to the museum by James Graf.
