This is a fairly new trail system to Mountain bikers. There is a few hills, some rocks, single track thru the trees. the trails are mainly used by horses but every time I go there I see a few more mountain bikers which are improving ... more on trails.mtbr.com

Penny road has enough trails that you can actually ride hours without repeating the same trail over and over.there are sections that are full of horse tracks but also many that are not.the challenge is medium at best but with the few places in chicago to ride it is definately worth a visit Recommended Route: north from parking lot for miles Other recommended trails in the same area: palos out & back is fast smooth turny single track more on trails.mtbr.com
