Local Person's Oppenion
The old festival was much better, when everyting had to be authentic...but it is still fun. I can remeber when my grandma would take us into town and we could smell all of the 'historical' thing than can be made or grown in Parke County. Looking forward to 2005 festival
We have been traveling many miles to come to the Covered Bridge Festival yearly for 9 years. When we first started coming there we lived northwest of Chicago and it took us about 4 hours one way.
