Relaxing for the adults but a bit boring for kids

Went on the riverboat ride with the kids. It was a nice way to spend a relaxing afternoon but the kids were bored silly. 1 1/2 hours is just too long for them to sit. Hated the ride

After viewing the Dubuque River Rides website, my husband and I thought it would be a nice, romantic boat ride up the Mississippi River. For $45/person, to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. We were ushered onto a giant paddleboat and seated with 10 other random people. Instead ... Relaxing Ride

We took the afternoon sightseeing cruise. Up the Mississippi to above the Hwy 61 Bridge and back down the river to south of the Hwy 20 Bridge. Relaxing, fun time with authentic narration and explanations. Probably not for little kids, but fine for adults. The second deck was a bit weather-beaten ...
