As mentioned before, this trail is only for locals, not much there, but it is MUCH better than the towpath! There are a few short down hills that are steep as you get closer to state road. 5 + water crossings. Also, look for a nice ... more on trails.mtbr.com

Just as an update...the "best" parts of this area has just been wiped out thanks to a new housing developement! There is still a "fire" road back there, but it is mostly flat, with a few water crossings, but all (i should say both) ... more on trails.mtbr.com
