We were driven up to the top of Mt. Soledad, enjoyed the views from the top, then rode down the mountain and into La Jolla. more on TripAdvisor

This was worth the money--$86 dollars for a two person kayak--tour was small only 5 boats but the difference in the abilities caused us to be waiting for one team who struggled to be in sync. more on TripAdvisor

We paddled out in light surf-very easy-and made our way to the leopard shark congregation area, where we saw plenty of shadowy sharks prowling the ocean floor. more on TripAdvisor
