Raven Run is comprised of one main four mile loop (red trail), plus many other trails crisscrossing throughout the nature sanctuary, including the meadow trail and the "flower bowl" trail. I live near Lexington and often make the trek just to hike these trails on a beautiful day. The river overlook on one end and the grist mill by a babbling brook on the other add "water feature" interest, and the variety of terrains (from wildflower meadow to heavily wooded) keep the scenery chang... otterhere, a user of Tripadvisor. My wife and I visited Raven Run for the 1st time today and took our 2 shiz tsu's. We did not realize that pets were not welcome at this "nature sanctuary".
