Phoenix Mystery Castle is the legacy of Boyce Luther Gulley, who sequestered himself here after being diagnosed with tuberculosis back in the 1930s. Leaving his family behind to spare them the risk of contracting tuberculosis, he built this “castle” for his little girl whom he never saw again. The castle is open for tours daily.
