I'm a big fan of redwood forest riding, and the Feel of Humboldt Country, and Arcata, so it was a great experience for me. more on trails.mtbr.com

Recommended Route: my favorite routes spur off a logging road at the top of trail #3-look for the tracks in the mud-Other recommended trails in the same area: many books recommend Prairie Creek to the north, a 20-mile loop with limited single-track, but great views on the beach. more on trails.mtbr.com
