You CAN NOT just site see in Denver and decide to take a tour of the mint. We wanted to but that isn't so. You need to get CONGRESSIONAL SPONSORSHIP to go - that's right ---- from your Congressman!!! US Mint discourages tourists
It makes me sad to think that the US Mint in Denver is a part of our US government. They are doing a poor job of customer relations. The tour of the US Mint in Denver is a great learning experience!
Contrary to what other reviewers are saying, The U.S. Mint in Denver does still give tours. You must have a reservation in advance to guarantee that you can take the tour.
