Wetlands were a welcome break in commercial Florida

A lovely place to walk, view nature, and even see crocodiles. Away from the hustle and bustle of busy south Florida. Boardwalks take you along a path which has plenty of places to sit down in the shade along the way, so it is easy to take an elderly relative if he or she can walk 100 yards or so.... kirstiebg, a user of Yahoo! "Wakodahatchee" is a Miccosukee word meaning "created waters," and these wetlands are just that. In its previous lives the property has been vegetable farmland and a repository for sewage sludge.
