A must see

The memorial itself is both humbling and inspiring at the same time. Getting out TO the memorial is another story. The new security restrictions are insane. Imagine this one, no fatigue pants on a military base! I'm still laughing at that one. No pockets, bags etc. There also is no place to leave such items and no concern for the personal security of tourists forced to openly expose such theft provoking items. So if you want to bring anything along for the day it had better fit in your shorts or bra or you will have to go all the way back in to Waikiki to retrieve things like jackets, sunblock,walkman, books.... valueable time wasted in transit.
