Derby Time

This was our first trip to the Kentucky Derby. The price was not bad at $40.00 a pop per person. The atmoshere was great and exciting to see all the people, races and horses. Something you have to do when in Louisville

Churchill Downs is one of those places that you like to say that you have seen, but it really isn't all that exciting while you are there. We took the shorter (one hour) tour and while it was nice to see the track and winner's circle, one had the feeling that the guide was struggling to find thin... Engineer111, a user of Tripadvisor. Museum + Race = a winning ticket

We almost passed on Churchill Downs, not really horse racing fans, and when we went the lot was full as there was a full schedule of horse racing. It turned out to be far better than we expected, the museum was good/informative, but the best part was the tour to the track (part of the museum tick... kak531, a user of Tripadvisor.
