The Old Governor's Mansion, built by Huey P. Long in 1930 and nicknamed "Louisiana's White House," served as official residence to nine Louisiana governors and their families. Now a splendid historic house museum and venue for weddings, receptions, and special events. The Georgian landmark is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
